You need our uranium, our potash, and our high-grade nickel. I will stockpile our high-grade nickel, which accounts for 50% of your military and manufacturing needs, along with your aluminum, steel, and lumber.

It will be an absolute disaster, and this is all due to one person—President Trump. I have talked to countless Republican and Democratic governors, senators, and members of Congress. I love the U.S.; I lived there for 20 years. They are all saying this is the craziest thing someone could ever do. It is going to create massive problems."

Ford emphasized that retaliatory actions are not his first choice but might become necessary. “It is the last thing I want to do,” he added.
