Earthquake of 7.3 Magnitude Jolts Papua New Guinea Today

The Earth jolted due to earthquakes in Papua New Guinea and Tibet. Strong earthquake of magnitude 7.3 on the richter scale jolted Papua New Guinea. Quake rattled Shizang city of Tibet on Sunday-Monday night.

According to the information received, the earth jolted Shijang at around 1:12 pm. After which, a large number of people came out of their houses in panic. There is currently no report of any damage.

According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake was felt around 11:34 pm on Sunday night at Papua New Guinea. Tsunami warning has not been issued by the administration. Currently, there is no information about any loss of life or damage.
