Brazil: A five-month-old baby infected with the corona virus has won the war against the coronavirus. The baby, named Dom, has been in a coma for about a month, but has found new life after doctors' efforts.

CoronavirusA few days after birth, the baby became infected with Covid-19. He was admitted to Rio de Janeiro's Pro-Cardiaco Hospital for treatment, where he spent 54 days and 32 days in a coma on a ventilator.

Dom's father, Wagner Andrade said that he was having difficulty in breathing. Doctors thought it was a bacterial infection, but when he did not recover despite medication, we took him to the hospital.

The tests conducted here found that Dom had the corona virus. Wagner and his wife were reportedly visiting a relative's home when the baby contracted with corona.

The family is relieved that Dom has fully recovered. Dom's mother, Vivian Monterio, considers it a miracle. "Dom's recovery is nothing short of a miracle for us," he said.

According to doctors, Dom is now completely healthy and will be discharged from the hospital soon. Dom's father said his son would be six months old on June 14. He will celebrate his birthday with everyone at home.
