In a rare road accident on Friday Morning, five people lost their lives after a tree fell on a moving bus in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, C.M.O. Dr. Awadhesh Kumar Yadav confirmed to ANI.
The accident reportedly occurred in the Zaidpur police station area between 10-10:30 AM when it was on its way from Barabanki to Haidergarh.
The bus was carrying 60 people. Two others also got injured in the incident and are now in stable condition.
C.M.O. Barabanki Dr. Awadhesh Kumar Yadav told ANI, "Today, around 10-10:30 AM, in Harakh, a tree fell on a bus carrying 60 passengers due to heavy rainfall, resulting in the death of 5 people... Two people were injured... Both are out of danger...”
Out of the total 5 deceased, one has been identified, while the identification of the other four is yet to be done.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief and condolences to the bereaved families. He also announced financial assistance of Rs five lakh to the families of the deceased.
