Chandigarh: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD)
president Sukhbir Singh Badal today appointed new district
presidents of Barnala (Urban) and Sri Muktsar Sahib(Urban) in
a bid to strengthen the party base among people.
While Ravinder Singh Rummy Dhillon was appointed as the
district president of Barnala (Urban), Amit Shimpy has been
tasked with the responsibility of increasing the party's base
in Sri Mukatsar Sahib (Urban).
Badal said he has been assigning "big responsibilities"
to the people who have stood with the party over the years
through thick and thin.
He asked the newly appointed presidents to work hard
to strengthen the party base among the people.
