Chandigarh: Punjab police have issued transfer orders of one IPS officer and 24 PPS officers with immediate effect. An IPS officer, Charanjit Singh, has been transferred as additional deputy commissioner of police (ADCP), headquarters, in Amritsar. 

Jagdish Singh, PPS officer, has been now posted as ADCP-1, Amritsar; Narinder Pal Singh as AIG-counter intelligence, Ferozepur; Des Raj as zonal AIG, CID, Ferozepur; Kashmir Kaur as SP (crime against women), Ferozepur; Iqbal Singh as SP, Malout, and Davinder Singh as assistant commandant, 1 Commando Battalion, in Patiala. 

Sareen Kumar will now hold the post of AIG, PAP-2 Jalandhar; Amarjit Singh has been posted as SP, headquarters, Ferozepur; Bikramjit Singh as SP (information technology) in Chandigarh; Dharamvir Singh as SP (investigation), Pathankot; Harpal Singh as SP (investigation), Fatehgarh Sahib; Daljit Singh as SP, GRP-2, Patiala; Varinder Singh as SP, headquarters, Gurdaspur, and Jatinder Singh as assistant commandant, 5 IRB, Amritsar. 

Manohar Lal has now been posted as SP, headquarters, Amritsar (rural); Harinderpal Singh as ADCP (investigation), Jalandhar; Mandeep Singh as ADCP-1, Jalandhar; Kulwant Singh as assistant commandant, 27 Battalion, PAP, Jalandhar; Nirmaljit Singh as ADCP (security) with additional charge of Jalandhar traffic; Paramjit Singh as ADCP-1, Ludhiana; Rattan Singh Brar as ADCP (investigation), Ludhiana, and Satnam Singh as assistant commandant, 7 IRB, Kapurthala.
