Punjab CM expresses shock at killing of youth in US

Jalandhar: Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh on Thursday expressed shock at the killing of a Nawanshahr youth in the US.

He also requested External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj to take up the matter at the highest level.

In a tweet, Amarinder said, “Shocked at the gruesome killing of Nawanshahr’s Dharampreet Singh in California. @SushmaSwaraj ji, request you to take up the issue at highest level with US authorities to ensure justice for the family.
