Chandigarh: The Punjab unit of the Aam Aadmi Party yesterday announced the list of its office bearers including on charges of assembly constituencies in the state.
In a joint statement, AAP state chief Bhagwant Mann, co-president Aman Arora and secretary Gulshan Chhabra said the appointments were made to smoothen the working of the party at different levels in the state. The party announced names of 48 persons who will be the in charge of the Assembly constituencies in Punjab.
Among them were Simarjit Singh (Balluana), Baldev Singh Azad (Malout), Jagdeep Singh (Muktsar), Manjit Sidhu (Rampura Phull), Master Jagseer Singh (Bhucho Mandi), Deepak Bansal (Bathinda Urban), Daljit Singh Sadarpura (Dharamkot), Sarabjot Kaur (Dera Bassi) and Narinder Shergill (Mohali). Besides, the party also announced Nasib Bawa as its chief of Moga unit. It also announced names of its media team.
