Amritsar: One kg of heroin and Rs 61.16 lakh
cash was recovered by the counter intelligence Amritsar
wing of the Punjab Police here, officials said.
Besides, one pistol .32 bore along-with 103 live rounds
were also recovered, they claimed.
In a press release here today, the police said that the
recovery of drug and cash was made from two alleged smugglers
both named Sukhbir Singh.
A case has been registered under the relevant provisions
of the NDPS Act, they said.
