Chandigarh: Sh. Davesh Moudgil, Mayor of Chandigarh today inaugurated the gym and office room of area councillor in the Community centre, Bapu Dham, Sector 26, Chandigarh in presence of Sh. Satya Pal Jain, Additional Solicitor General of India and former Member Parliament of Chandigarh, Sh. Dalip Sharma, area councilor, councilors & officers of MCC and prominent persons from the city.

He said that we are committed to provide a healthy environment to residents of Chandigarh and with that aim in mind, we have taken this initiative to set up gym facilities in all the community centres, which does not have earlier.

He said that this gym has been provided at a cost of Rs. 6 lacs with latest gym equipments including 1 motorized treadmill, 1 upright bike, 1 elliptical cross trainer, one piece 6 station gym, multi bench, ab king pro, twister, 2 plain bench, arm curl bench, rubber coated hexa dumbbells 40 Kg, coloured rubber coated weight plates 35 Kg, 1 bar rack with bars, 2 dumbbell-cum-road stand, weight plate rack, 5 Yoga mats and 4 gym balls etc.
