A man and his son were killed and two others were injured in a road accident on the Anandpur Sahib-Nangal road near Dher village.

The deceased have been identified as Suresh
Kumar (30) of Mojowal village near Nangal and his son Akshay (3), while
the injured were identified as Suresh's wife Urmila and another son
Ravinder Singh.
The police said the accident took place when a calf came
in front of a tanker. The tanker driver lost control
over the vehicle and it collided with a motorcycle being driven by
Suresh. After this it collided with a jeep and overturned.
