Haryana education minister congratulates Manushi Chhillar for becoming Miss World

Chandigarh: Haryana Education Minister, Mr Ram Bilas Sharma has congratulated Ms Manushi Chhillar for becoming Miss World and added that State Government would honour Manushi, a medical student, at Bhagat Phool Singh Women University, Khanpur Kalan in the presence of Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal.

 In a statement issued here today, the Minister said that Haryana’s daughter Manushi has proved her mettle and brought glory to the nation at global level. Our daughters like Sakshi, Geeta, Babita, Rani Rampal, Saina Nehwal and Kalpana Chawla has outshined in various fields and made the whole nation proud at international level.

He also criticized the derogatory and senseless tweet of Congress MP Mr Shashi Tharoor on Manushi Chhillar and added that Mr Tharoor is a person of distorted mind. What the society can expect from a person who is suspect in murder case of her own wife. His comment had insulted all women in the society.

Mr Sharma said that statement of Mr Tharoor had shows his anti-women thinking. He should apologize publicly from all women. He said the significant achievement of our daughter Manushi is inspirational, thus Mr Tharoor should have congratulated her rather making senseless and derogatory remarks.
