Fire breaks out in police post in Ludhiana

Ludhiana: A major fire broke out in the Tibba Police Post falling under the Jodhewal police station here today, police said. Eight motorbikes and a large quantity of yarn, all case property which was kept in the police post, were burnt, said police post in-charge Assistant Sub Inspector Kapil Sharma.

It took more than two hours to control the flames with the help of firefighting units of the Ludhiana fire brigade. The cause of the fire was not immediately known, police said.   Goods were lying in open in the premises of the police post, an officer of the fire department said.
