A eleventh standard student allegedly sodomized a six-year-old
in sugarcane fields of Machhiwara village. Police said the panchayat informed them of the incident, but were yet
to file a written complaint against the 16-year-old, which was required
to register an FIR.
The teenager accosted the six year old student offering him candies and a ride on his bicycle. Then he took him to the sugarcane fields in Machhiwara and sodomized him, before letting him go.
The incident came to light when the boy reached home crying and narrated the incident before his parents. The parents took him to a doctor.
Block Education Officer (Primary) Sher Singh
said that the incident occurred outside the school so they will
investigate the matter, and will take appropriate action against the student.
