Punjab Police bags CCTNS good practice awards for Digital Criminal Intelligence Gazette, generation of SCRB reports...

Spokesman News Service, Chandigarh, October 31: Punjab Police today bags Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS) good practice award for the development of Digital Criminal Intelligence Gazette and generation of State Crime Record Bureau (SCRB) reports. Union Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba, Director Intelligence Bureau Rajiv Jain, Director NCRB Ish Kumar and Punya Srivastava joint secretary conferred the awards to DGP IT&T, V.K. Bhawra.

Lauding the achievements of the Punjab Police, DGP Suresh Arora said this is a proud moment for us which has added one more feather in cap of Punjab Police. He informed that this award was received by Mr Bhawra who has also got individual award for his immense contribution in CCTNS implementation in Punjab.

Likewise, incharge, Range Training School Bathinda, Inspector Major Singh, system administrator Sangrur, constable Bhupinder Singh and state project monitoring unit, IT&T, constable Gurpreet Singh also got awards for their contribution for this project.
