Punjab Anti-Drug Campaign Pays Off Thousands Nabbed, Smuggling Suspended latest news: Punjab's anti-drug campaign is paying dividends, reports Aman Arora. The hardline policy has pushed the drug peddlers out of villages, and they are being nabbed in large numbers while a few of them have also suffered injuries in gunfights. Cross-border smuggling has also stopped since March 1, as there are no buyers for the drugs, which has gravely impacted the supply chain.
