Jail administration has registered cases against 6 Prisoners
KAPURTHALA: The Central jails in Punjab often remains the subject of headlines as the incident of recovering digital devices continues. Many mobile phones, SIM Cards and batteries have been recovered from the Central jail in Kapurthala.
Atleast 5 mobile phones, 5 SIM Cards and 5 batteries have been recovered during a surprise search conducted by the jail administration in Kapurthala. The jail administration has registered various cases under 52-A of the Jail Act against six prisoners at Kapurthala police station.
