Punjab Weather Updates: IMD Chandigarh Issues Yellow Alerts for Several Districts
Punjab Weather Updates Today — The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Chandigarh, has issued yellow alerts for four districts of Punjab for today, July 29, warning of heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, squalls, and other adverse weather conditions.
The state weather station has placed the following four districts under a yellow alert: Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Rupnagar, and Fatehgarh Sahib.
No alerts have been issued for the remaining districts in the general forecast for today.

Weather Observed in the Past 24 Hours:
In the past 24 hours, there has been a decrease of 1.2°C in the average minimum temperature, which remains near normal.
The lowest minimum temperature in the state was 23.7°C, recorded at Salern (AWS), Hoshiarpur, while Gurdaspur (AMFU) received the highest rainfall in the state at 96.7 mm.
