IMD has already forecast relief from heatwave with rains in coming days.

Punjab School Summer Vacation Holidays Extension Latest News: In view of the heatwave conditions in Punjab, the students as well as parents were hoping for an extension in summer vacation holidays. However, it now seems there will be no extension as the weather is turning into normal besides there has been no update from the government regarding the same. 

On the other hand, several schools have started to send notifications about the re-opening of school, which is as per the scheduled time, with no extension. 

Since the government hasn't opened up regarding an extension in the summer vacation and considering the notifications sent by schools to the parents and students, it now seems that the students would have to attend the schools as per the scheduled time as there might not be any extension this year. 

It may be recalled that the Punjab government had announced summer vacation in schools, earlier than usual this year, due to extreme heatwave conditions in Punjab. 

Students and parents were anticipating an extension of the holidays, spurred by continuous heatwave alerts issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD). However, recent updates have brought a shift in expectations.
