People have to wait for months to get passports: Jasbir Gill & Gurjeet Aujla
CHANDIGARH: Congress leaders Jasbir Singh Gill and Gurjeet Singh Aujla on Tuesday (March 28) met Foreign Minister V Muraleedharan. They apprised the Minister about the agony of people in Punjab waiting to get passports for 3-4 months. They told the foreign minister that people have to wait for months to get passports.
The Congress leaders also spoke about the unnecessary delay in the opening of the passport office in Tarn Taran. Union Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan asked the CPO to resolve the issues while hearing the matter immediately. Mohammad Sadiq was also present on the occasion.
