DEATH SENTENCE TO AN ACCUSED IN A CASE RELATING TO KIDNAPPING AND MURDER.....
The Special Judge, CBI Cases, Mohali (Punjab) has today awarded Death Sentence to Shri Kushwinder Singh, resident of Village-Suhavi in a case related to kidnapping and murder of four family members. CBI had registered the case on the orders dated 16.07.2007 of Punjab & Haryana High Court passed in Crl. Misc. No. 58783-M of 2006 and taken over the investigation of Case FIR No. 59 of 2004 dated 05.06.2004 registered earlier at Police Station Bassi Pathana,
District Fatehgarh Sahib (Punjab) relating to kidnapping and murder of Shri Kulwant Singh, his wife Smt.Harjit Kaur and their two children Ramandeep Kaur & Arvinder Singh. It was alleged that Sh. Kultar Singh, resident of village Polo Majara, District Fatehgarh Sahib (Punjab) had made a missing/kidnapping and murder complaint about Shri Kulwant Singh and his family on 03.06.2004. Police Station Bassi Pathana, District Fatehgarh Sahib (Punjab) After completion of further investigation, CBI filed chargesheet against accused Khushwinder Singh, resident of Village- Suhavi, Police Station- Khamano(Punjab) U/s 364, 201 and 302 of IPC in the Court of Special Judicial Magistrate, CBI Cases, Patiala on 08.09.2014.
