Chandigarh: The cases of corona virus are continuously increasing in city beautiful. Six new cases came to light here on Thursday, bringing the total number of corona positives in the city to 288.

CoronavirusCoronavirus These new cases have also come to light from Bapu Dham Colony. It may be mentioned here that out of total 288 cases in Chandigarh, 216 cases have been registered from Bapu Dham Colony alone.

In the latest six cases, two girls aged 12 and 15 and boys aged 8, 16 and 17 have been infected with the corona virus. Out of 288 cases in Chandigarh, 97 active cases are at present. Meanwhile, Bapu Dham Colony has emerged as a hotspot for corona virus in Chandigarh.

CoronavirusCoronavirusSo far most of the cases have been registered from Bapu Dham Colony. It may be mentioned here that more than 6,000 cases of corona virus are being registered every day since May 22, despite the lockdown.

So far, the number of patients infected with the corona virus in the country has crossed 1.5 lakh and more than 4,000 people have died. At the same time, 67,692 people have been cured of the virus.
