Immediate Response Efforts Underway as Local Authorities and Health Teams Mobilize to Contain the Blaze

KURALI: A Devastating fire engulfed a chemical factory situated at the focal point of Kurali in the Mohali district, leaving eight individuals with severe burn injuries. The alarming incident has prompted a swift response from local authorities and healthcare teams to manage the situation and provide necessary medical aid.

As the fire broke out, it quickly spread, resulting in eight individuals sustaining significant burns. Among them, three victims with critical injuries were immediately referred to Mohali for urgent medical attention. The remaining five individuals were admitted to the nearby Kurali hospital for further treatment and care.

In response to the emergency, healthcare teams from Ropar were dispatched to the site, joining forces with local authorities to combat the raging inferno. The blaze emitted dense plumes of smoke, casting a pall over the entire sky and raising concerns for the safety of the surrounding areas.

At present, a substantial force of 24 fire brigade vehicles is actively engaged in efforts to extinguish the fire. The chemical factory has become a source of worry due to its proximity to other industrial units, heightening the risk of a potential major accident if the fire were to spread.
