Punjab Weather Update Latest News Today: The weather in Punjab is likely to witness a significant change starting today as the monsoon is predicted to become active once again. As per the India Meteorological Department, several districts in Punjab are expected to experience rainfall, providing relief from the prevailing heat conditions in the state.
In the meanwhile, a yellow alert has been issued for the districts of Pathankot, Gurdaspur, and Hoshiarpur, predicting the possibility of moderate to heavy rain.
Additionally, rainfall is also likely in other parts of the state, including Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Nawanshahr, Rupnagar, Mohali, Patiala, Fatehgarh Sahib, Sangrur, Mansa, and Bathinda.

As per the data provided by the IMD, various parts of Punjab have already begun receiving rain. By Monday evening, Amritsar had recorded 0.7 mm of rain, Ferozepur 0.5 mm, Gurdaspur 4 mm, and Pathankot 1 mm. Likewise, late-night alerts for heavy rain were issued for several districts in the East Malwa region, including Mansa, Sangrur, Barnala, Bathinda, Ludhiana, Fatehgarh Sahib, Rupnagar, Moga, Jalandhar, Nawanshahr, and Hoshiarpur.
