Punjab weather update today: Since this morning, Punjab has been experiencing heavy rainfall in several areas, offering much-needed relief from the heat. The continuous rain has led to humid conditions across the region, which is causing some discomfort for residents. However, the weather change has also made the atmosphere more pleasant amidst hot conditions and hummidity.

In Punjab, the weather has shifted since this morning, with intermittent rain affecting various parts of the city. This rainfall was also extended to Panchkula and Mohali since yesterday evening, leading to a predicted drop in temperatures across the Tricity area.

The Punjab Weather Update has issued a yellow alert for rain today and tomorrow (Saturday). The Meteorological Department forecasts substantial rainfall over the next two days, along with potential winds and lightning. Fluctuating temperatures during the rainy season increase the risk of disease outbreaks, prompting the health department to issue an advisory.

On Thursday, light to moderate rain was recorded in several areas of Punjab. Due to limited open rain, increased cloudiness has been observed. According to the Weather Center in Punjab, rainfall measurements include 55.5 mm in Pathankot, 44.5 mm in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, 22.7 mm in Gurdaspur, and 10.6 mm in Amritsar.
