Punjab Schools New Timings Changed Latest News Today: In a significant update for students and parents, the Punjab Education Department has announced revised school timings for government, private, aided, and recognized schools across the state. The new schedule will be implemented starting March 1, 2025.

According to the report, all government schools will now open at 8:30 AM. The daily schedule will be as follows:

Morning Assembly: 8:30 AM
First Period: 8:55 AM - 9:35 AM
Second Period: 9:35 AM - 10:15 AM
Third Period: 10:15 AM - 10:55 AM
Fourth Period: 10:55 AM - 11:35 AM
Fifth Period: 11:35 AM - 12:15 PM
Lunch Break: 12:15 PM - 12:50 PM
Sixth Period: 12:50 PM - 1:30 PM
Seventh Period: 1:30 PM - 2:10 PM
Eighth Period: 2:10 PM - 2:50 PM

The half-time break from 12:15 PM to 12:50 PM will allow students to have their meals and refreshments.

The change in schedule aims to streamline school operations and ensure better time management for both students and teachers. Parents and students are advised to take note of the new timings as they come into effect on March 1.
