Punjab Weather Update: 4 Districts Under Red Alert, Heavy Rain Predicted For The Next Few Hours
Punjab Weather Update Today, Punjab Nowcast August 25 Latest News: Ludhiana, Barnala, Sangur, and Mansa have been placed under Red alerts warning of heavy rain, accompanied by moderate thunderstorms with maximum surface wind with wind speed reaching up to 61kmph in gusts, according to the Indian Meteorological Department, Chandigarh. The predictions have been made for the
Nowcast, which is valid till 2 PM this afternoon.
In the same cast, the state IMD has placed eleven other districts in the state under an orange alert, warning of moderate rain accompanied by similar weather conditions with wind speed reaching up to 40 kmph.
The remaining districts in the state have been placed under a yellow alert warning of light rain with rainfall less than 5mm per hour.
