Spokesman News Service: Chandigarh, November 23: Mohan Lal, a resident of Chuhar Chak village in district Gurdaspur and Hardeep Kaur resident of village Ghulabgarh in district Bathinda have won Punjab government's Diwali Bumper-2018. The draw for the same was announced some days ago at Ludhiana.

An official spokesperson of the Punjab State Lotteries Department today said that after the announcement of the result, ticket no. A-034493 of Mohan Lal and ticket no. B-936134 of Hardeep Kaur have been figured as winners of Rs.1.50 crore each.

It is pertinent that both the winners belong to middle-class families. While Mohan Lal works at almirah manufacturing shop, Hardeep Kaur’s husband is serving as Home Guard at Bathinda. “Both the winners have submitted their documents to the Directorate of Punjab State Lotteries for the prize and they will be given the prize soon”, he added.

After presenting the claim for the prize, both the winners expressed happiness and said that they are very grateful to the Punjab government, which has made them millionaires overnight.
