Chandigarh: The Punjab government has given relief to the people in the ban imposed due to coronavirus. The state government today issued new guidelines during Lockdown-5 / Unlock-1.

PhotoPhotoMeanwhile, the government has allowed meals in hotels and restaurants. However, as per the orders issued by the government, only 50 per cent of the people will be able to dine in hotels or restaurants.

As per the information received, it has also been allowed to serve liquor in restaurants. In addition, restaurants will be open until 8 p.m. Gatherings of upto 50 people are also allowed at weddings and other functions. However, bars will remain closed during this time.

Meanwhile, the government had banned gathering places to comply with social distance rules.
