Strong winds caused tree branches to fall, and a large branch blocked a road in Sector 34, resulting in a major traffic jam. The Municipal Corporation told The Tribune that over 30 complaints were received about broken branches and uprooted trees. Workers have been assigned to clear these obstructions.

The rain also caused waterlogging in multiple areas. The sudden change in weather was attributed to the rising temperatures over the past few days. As per reports, a cyclone formed over Haryana, drawing moisture from both the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal.
