Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has asked officials to quicken the hiring process for 3,381 Elementary Teacher Training (ETT) teachers.

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Sets Pace for Imminent Recruitment of 3,381 ETT Teachers latest news: Making a key effort to strengthen the education system, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has asked officials to quicken the hiring process for 3,381 Elementary Teacher Training (ETT) teachers. At a review meeting with the Education Department held in Chandigarh, Mann promised that the appointment letters will be dispatched promptly, bringing respite to candidate teachers.

Mentioning the honour of his government, Chief Minister Mann asserted with pride that his administration has sanctioned 50,892 jobs during the last 35 months, a record for the state in its history. Of these, more than 11,000 jobs have been sanctioned in the education sector alone, signifying the government's pledge to give special priority to education.

Chief Minister Mann reiterated that all job opportunities have been given strictly on merit, and no corruption or nepotism has been practiced in the process. Chief Minister Mann assured the citizens of Punjab that this trend would be followed, and all outstanding matters of employment would be settled at the earliest opportunity.

The hiring of 3,381 ETT teachers is part of an overall plan to upgrade the standard of education in Punjab. The direction of the Chief Minister to get the hiring done quickly indicates the commitment of his government to upgradation of the state's education infrastructure. Appointment letters will be given in two phases to avoid any disruption.
