 Russia Ukraine War Latest Breaking News, 911 Like Drone Attack Today: Several drones carrying explosives struck residential buildings in the Russian city of Kazan on Saturday morning, sparking fires, according to authorities. Reports indicate that three kamikaze drones targeted high-rise residential buildings in the city. Eyewitnesses have shared video footage showing the moment of impact and the aftermath of the attack.

Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene, and TASS news agency confirmed that efforts to evacuate residents from the affected buildings were underway. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported so far.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported earlier in the day on its Telegram channel that its air defenses had intercepted a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) over the Republic of Tatarstan, the region where Kazan is located. This statement was later corroborated by the city's administration.

Since the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine conflict in February 2022, Ukrainian drones have been intercepted multiple times in Moscow and other regions of Russia. However, only a few UAVs have successfully reached their intended targets.
