One Victim Killed, Another Injured in a Shocking Incident at Myserkhana

MYSERKHANA: In a tragic incident at Myserkhana in Bathinda, a young man who had set out to enjoy a local fair met a horrifying fate as he was brutally attacked with sharp weapons by unidentified assailants. The gruesome incident also left another young man seriously injured, and he has since been admitted to the government hospital in Bathinda for medical treatment.

The motive behind this ruthless murder remains shrouded in mystery, as investigators work tirelessly to unearth the truth. The victim has been identified as Navdeep Singh, a resident of Mysar Khana, while the injured youth is named Ranjit Singh. The police have taken swift action by registering a case under section 302 against unknown suspects based on statements provided by the deceased's family, initiating further legal proceedings.

According to available information, the tragic incident unfolded when Navdeep Singh ventured to participate in the ongoing Mata Mela at Mysar Khana. Around 3:30 in the morning, a group of unidentified individuals surrounded Navdeep and launched a vicious attack using sharp weapons. After inflicting severe injuries, the assailants made a swift escape from the scene. Tragically, another young man present at the scene, Ranjit Singh, also sustained injuries in the attack.

Both wounded youths were rushed to the Government Hospital in Bathinda for immediate medical attention. Regrettably, the medical team's efforts were in vain, as Navdeep Singh was declared dead as a result of the brutal assault. The incident has left the community in shock and has raised concerns about the safety of local events and gatherings.
