The auto-rickshaw driver
who was included in the gangrape case of the 21-yr-old girl has been seen in the CCTV footage
collected from the Sector-42 petrol pump, where he had stopped to refuel his vehicle
just minutes before he along with the two other male occupants gangraped the woman in Sector 53.
The auto-driver was wearing a jacket
distributed by a Kajheri-based guesthouse for its branding campaign.
As the guesthouse had distributed the jacket to 300 auto drivers in the city,
the police are now in search of these drivers
in the hope of making a breakthrough.
According to the sources,
the guesthouse owner had distributed these jackets among auto drivers
for promotions of his establishment. He has distributes these jackets in order to
direct the people coming to the city. Guesthouses pay commission
or give incentives to drivers of auto-rickshaws and taxis to promote their establishments.
Meanwhile, police is doing further investigation regarding this case.
