Tragic Shootout Erupts in Khosa Kotla Village, Prompting Police Investigation

MOGA: A Tragic and fatal incident transpired on Friday morning in Khosa Kotla village, Moga, as a double murder unfolded due to an alleged personal grudge. The shocking incident occurred at 6 am and was a culmination of longstanding enmity within the village, resulting in a deadly shootout between the conflicting parties. As a consequence, the village's current sarpanch, affiliated with the Congress party, and his associate lost their lives to gunshot injuries. On the opposing side, two individuals sustained injuries in the violent encounter and were subsequently admitted to the government hospital in Moga.

The Deceased, identified as Veer Singh, held the position of sarpanch within the Congress party, lending a political dimension to the tragic event. The shooters involved in this devastating incident are residents of the same village and are affiliated with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). In the wake of this disturbing incident, the local police have initiated an investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding the double murder.
