Two persons were killed in a road mishap that
took place near Dhariwal Salempura village, falling under the Rajasansi
police station in Amritsar.

The deceased have been identified as Sarabjit Kaur (22) and her cousin Daler Singh (20). They were going to hospital on a bike when an unknown vehicle crushed them to death.
IO Bikramjit Singh said due to dense fog, an unknown vehicle hit their bike and crushed them to death. The incident was so severe that the bodies could not be recognised on the spot.
He said CCTV cameras installed on the route were being examined to get clues about the vehicle.
