Flood situation has posed immense challenges for people

FEROZEPUR: As the torrential waters of the Sutlej and Beas rivers continue to impact numerous villages across Ferozepur and Fazilka districts, school administrations have extended holidays until August 26. The devastating floodwaters have prompted the evacuation of multiple villages, forcing the Ferozepur district administration to suspend school activities for safety reasons. The decision comes in the wake of impassable roads and flooded campuses, rendering it impossible for students to commute safely to schools.
