Seminar on “Sikh Student Organizations : History, Future and Challenges” organized by AFSS
Panjab University Sikh Student Organization ‘Academic Forum of Sikh Students’ organized a seminar on the topic of “Sikh Student Organizations : History, Future and Challenges”. Prominent sikh journalist Jaspal Singh Sidhu spoke on the history of sikh student organizations and the challenges faced by them.
Sikh thinker Mandhir Singh gave an outline of sikh student politics. Alliance of Sikh Organization’s youth leader Sukhdev Singh Phagwara expressed his thoughts on organizational essence and also the crucial points for maintaining conceptual integrity within the organization. Speaker Parampal Singh Sabhra shared his concern while also awaring the present audience over the existing issues faced by sikh student organizations.
He congratulated the university students for uniting together under the name of AFSS and also encouraged them to organise such events in future. Sukhmander Singh secretariat of AFSS read the organizations proclamation. The seminar Stage was managed by Kiratpreet Kaur. In the end, organization’s Parmveer Singh thanked all the present sikh scholars and students.
