A 19-year-old youth was found dead in his car with a bullet injury on his forehead on the Panchkula-Morni road this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Tanishq Bhasin, a second-year student of SD College, Chandigarh. Tanishq’s father Sunil Bhasin is an advocate in the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The police are suspecting it to be a case of suicide as there was a bullet injury at the centre of his forehead, but they have not ruled out the murder angle also.

Panchkula ACP (Law and Order) Nupur Bishnoi said after reaching the spot, the police opened the car with the help of a mechanic as it was locked from inside and found Tanishq’s body on the driver’s seat. The police also recovered his mobile phone from the car, she said.
