Punjabis Death in Georgia Restaurant Latest News: In a tragic incident at a ski resort in Gudauri, Georgia, 12 people were found dead due to suspected carbon monoxide poisoning. Among the deceased, 11 were confirmed as Indian nationals, according to a press release issued Monday by the Indian Embassy in Tbilisi.
The victims were discovered on the second floor of a building that housed an Indian restaurant, local reports indicated. However, Congress MP from Amritsar, Gurjeet Singh Aujla, claimed that all 12 individuals who died were from Punjab.
“12 Punjabis have tragically died from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning at a ski resort in Gudauri, Georgia. I urge CM @BhagwantMann & @KuldeepSinghAAP, NRI Minister, to take immediate steps to bring back the bodies and support grieving families,” Aujla posted on X.

We are also in contact with the bereaved families and are committed to providing all possible support,” the statement read.
