Family Alleges Negligence, Accuses School of Mishandling
Upon hearing the news, Amaira's grieving family rushed to the school and accused the institution of negligence. The situation escalated when the family alleged that the school staff closed the gates upon their arrival, refusing to let them in. Only after they protested were they allowed entry.
“This is gross negligence by the school authorities. How can a child be left in such a vulnerable position? Their attempt to shut the gates and block us from entering is unacceptable,” a family member said.
Police Step In to Manage Chaos
The incident drew a crowd of angry residents, demanding accountability from the school. SHO Bhupinder Singh of Division Number 7 police station arrived at the scene to control the situation and engage in discussions with the aggrieved family.
“We are investigating the matter. The allegations of negligence by the school staff are being thoroughly examined,” said SHO Bhupinder Singh.

The tragedy has raised serious concerns about the safety protocols in schools, particularly regarding the operation of school buses. Residents have called for stricter guidelines and accountability from school management to ensure the safety of children.
