Navjot Singh Murder case latest news: In a major development in the singer Navjot Singh aka Isapuria Virk's murder case, the Punjab Police has finally arrested the killers after over 6 years. Giving information about the same, the Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab, Gaurav Yadav, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and posted a tweet.

He said, "Today, after 6 years, the killers of Singer Navjot Singh @ Isapuria Virk have been arrested. Justice has been served. Acting professionally & scientifically on an untraced sensational murder case of the singer in 2018, CIA SAS Nagar Police has solved the investigation adeptly." 

He further added that "Punjab Police is committed to making Punjab crime-free as per the vision of CM Bhagwant Mann."

Navjot Singh aka Isapuria Virk's Murder case: 

Punjabi singer Navjot Singh, aged 22, was found shot dead with five bullet injuries to his body, in a vacant plot on Barwala road, near Derabassi, in 2018.

The Police stated that the body of Navjot Singh was found in a pool of blood in Berha village. According to the post-mortem report, the victim was shot at point-blank range. Back then, the police suspected the case to be either a love affair gone wrong or a property dispute. 

Likewise, Navjot’s car, a Nissan Micra, was found a few metres from his body. It was his father, Sukhbir Singh, and his cousin who found the body around 12.15 am.
