Huge celebration was held in Jalandhar to mark the 78th Independence Day. 

Independence Day 2024 Celebrations in Punjab: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Thursday hoisted the Indian flag in Jalandhar marking 78 years of freedom, resilience, and the enduring spirit of our nation.

On this Independence Day 2024, the Punjab government stated that it aims to renew its commitment to building a 'Rangla Punjab' that embodies the strength, unity, and aspirations of all.

Earlier, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann took to X and wrote: "Happy 78th Independence Day of India to all of you... Salute to all the freedom fighters who made their valuable contribution to the freedom of the country because of which we are celebrating the warmth of freedom today..."

Similarly, a huge celebration was held in Jalandhar to mark the 78th Independence Day. 

Likewise, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to X and wrote: "Independence Day greetings to my fellow Indians. Jai Hind!"
