Mohanlal Represented Punjab in the 20-Member Team

SRI ANANDPUR SAHIB: Chaudhary Mohan Lal (36), who was posted as a Havaldar in the 26 Punjab Battalion of the Indian Army in Lakher village of Changar region made India proud by hoisting the tricolor in four days on the 6153-meter high Kangri mountain in Leh Ladakh. 

It is worth mentioning here that Mohan Lal is the younger brother of Chaudhary Pahu Lal and Ram Prakash, the owner of Chaudhary Sweets, and the son of Chaudhary Bachna Ram, the former Sarpanch of Lakher village. He is currently posted in the Indian Army in Sand Glacier Jammu and Kashmir.

Earlier Chaudhary Mohanlal has conquered 12 peaks including Machoi in 2015, Jogin III mountain in 2016, Mamostong Kangri version peak, Stok Kangri in 2017, Mt. Bhagirathi 2 in 2018, Kamet, Banor?, Nanda Kot, Thar Kot, Tent Peak. He was the only participant from Punjab in the 20-member team that hoisted the flag at Stok Kangri Mountain. They were accompanied by 8 members of the Kyrgyz Army, including 8 from Leh, 2 from Haryana and one jawan from West Bengal.

Mohanlal is posted as a Havaldar in the 26 Punjab Battalion of the Indian Army. Mohanlal was the only member from Punjab in the 20-member team. Chaudhary Mohanlal said that his main aim is to conquer India's highest peak, Kangchenjunga  (8586 m height), for which he is working hard day and night.
