Harjinder Singh Dhami Apology to Bibi Jagir Kaur Latest News Today: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President Harjinder Singh Dhami has publicly apologized for his controversial remarks against three-time former SGPC president Bibi Jagir Kaur. The incident occurred during a telephonic conversation with a reporter from a web channel.

In response to a question regarding Jagir Kaur's statement on Sukhbir Singh Badal's resignation, Dhami reportedly made objectionable comments, sparking widespread criticism. Acknowledging his mistake, Dhami submitted a formal apology to the Akal Takht secretariat.

In his letter addressed to Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh, Dhami stated, "While speaking over the phone, I used certain objectionable words unintentionally. As someone in a responsible panthic position, I deeply regret my actions. I apologize to Bibi Jagir Kaur and all women for my remarks."

Dhami reaffirmed his respect for the Akal Takht, adding, "The Akal Takht Sahib is the supreme authority for all Sikhs, and I will comply with any directive issued by it regarding this matter."
