Seizure of Mini Drone Leads to Case Against Suspected Smugglers; Ongoing Hunt for Culprits Ensues

AMRITSAR: In a Significant Operation, the rural police in Amritsar have successfully thwarted yet another attempt at smuggling illicit substances across the border by intercepting a DJI Mini Drone. This latest development has resulted in the registration of a case against two alleged smugglers, identified as Rajwinder Singh, alias Goldy, and Ranjit Singh, alias Raja, both residents of Hardo Rattan.

According to the SHO of Gharinda police station, the intelligence that led to this operation had pointed to the involvement of Goldy and Raja in a network connected to Pakistani smugglers. It was believed that the duo had utilized the drone to drop contraband in Dhanoa village. Acting swiftly on this information, the police initiated their operation.
