Chandigarh: The Chandigarh administration has decided to stop CTU and STU inter-state bus service from Sector 43 ISBT bus stand. This decision has been taken in view of the increasing cases of Covid-19 epidemic.

Following the decision, buses from other states will not be able to enter the Sector 43 bus stand and CTU buses will not be able to travel to other states.

This decision of the UT administration will be effective from today i.e. 13th June to 30th June. After detailed discussions with senior officials and medical experts, it has been decided that CTU will not operate its interstate buses till 30th June i.e. till the end of the lockdown period.

Meanwhile, the consent given to other states to run inter-state buses to bring passengers to Chandigarh would also be withdrawn. Meanwhile, Tri-City buses running from Chandigarh, Punjab and Haryana would continue working in Mohali, Chandigarh and Panchkula.
