"Why does Adani's business begin operations wherever he (the PM) goes?"
PM Modi “Can't Even Resolve Water Issues Between Punjab and Haryana”: Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann News:
Following Day 2 of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha Special Session, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann lashed out at the Ministry of External Affairs for criticizing his comments on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recently concluded five-nation visit. Mann remarked that the Prime Minister "can't even resolve water issues between Punjab and Haryana."
Speaking to the media, CM Mann said, "Don’t I have the right to question the country’s foreign policy and ask what he did during the visit?"
He further questioned, "Why does Adani's business begin operations wherever he (the PM) goes?"
Mann added, "I will keep asking such questions in the future as well. There are 140 crore people in the country — he should engage with them and address their concerns. He says he will stop the war between Russia and Ukraine, but he can't even resolve water issues between Punjab and Haryana."
Prime Minister Narendra Modi undertook a five-nation tour from 2 to 9 July 2025, visiting Ghana, Trinidad & Tobago, Argentina, Brazil, and Namibia. As part of the visit, he also attended the BRICS Summit in Rio de Janeiro from 6 to 7 July.
Following the conclusion of the tour, BJP National Spokesperson Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi addressed a press conference, hailing the visit as a significant milestone in India’s foreign relations.
"This tour has strategically, economically, and culturally ushered in a new era in India’s role on the global stage," Dr. Trivedi said.
He emphasized three major takeaways from the visit, stating, "The Prime Minister has unequivocally raised the issue of terrorism at BRICS. He made it clear that the perpetrators of terror and the victims of terror cannot be equated. This was a major diplomatic achievement, and it holds great strategic significance for India."
