Patiala: The coronavirus cases are increasing day by day in the country. With over 27,000 cases on Friday, India’s total number of cases rose to above 8.2 lakh.
Meanwhile, Thirty-three people in Patiala tested positive for coronavirus today.

With this, Patiala district has reported 74 cases of the virus in the last 24 hours.
Of 33, 20 was reported from Samana block. Eight were reported from Patiala city while one each from Patran and Rajpura. Three cases were reported from various villages.

With this the total number of infected people till now is 553.
