Transport Dept. Employees to Face Salary Cuts for Late Attendance: Punjab Govt., latest news: In a move to enforce discipline and punctuality among government employees, the Punjab government has announced strict measures for the Transport Department.

Employees who arrive late to the office will now face salary deductions. According to the latest order, all Transport Department employees are required to mark their attendance through a digital monitoring system—the M Seva App. Their presence will be tracked using this platform.

Emphasizing that punctuality is non-negotiable, the order mandates that employees must register their attendance before 9:00 AM and after 5:00 PM. Failure to comply will not only result in salary cuts but may also invite further disciplinary action.
